FORMER CISCO AND JUNIPER NETWORKS SENIOR SALES EXECUTIVE TO LEAD MERU'S AGGRESSIVE SALES GROWTH

Meru Networks, the leader in standards-based infrastructure solutions that enable the All-Wireless Enterprise, today announced Tushar Kothari has joined the company as senior vice president of worldwide field operations, a newly created position. Kothari, who previously worked with Cisco and Juniper Networks, is now charged with leading the global sales force, as well as customer service and distribution channels for Meru Networks.

Kothari previously served as vice president of worldwide channels at Juniper Networks and was vice president at Cisco Systems. At Juniper, he was responsible for building the channel organization and the enterprise and service provider go-to-market model, and was responsible for over $2 billion in revenues. In 2006, Kothari was named as one of CRN's "10 Worldwide Agenda Setters".
