LIMELIFE ANNOUNCES TWO NEW VICE PRESIDENTS,
SOLIDIFIES COMPANY AS PREMIERE PUBLISHER OF MOBILE CONTENT FOR WOMEN
(Menlo Park, Calif.—November 28, 2005) LimeLife, Inc.,
the only mobile consumer software publisher focused exclusively
on content for women, today announced the addition of Eileen
Mercilliott and Erica Chriss to the executive team of the only
mobile entertainment company creating wireless content
specifically for women, by women. Mercilliott was named Vice
President, Channel Sales and Chriss was named Vice President,
Business Development.
Mercilliott joins LimeLife from Nextel, where she managed the
content product line, including gaming, information services,
music and imaging. She was responsible for content acquisition,
programming and sales distribution. Prior to Nextel, Mercilliott
spent six years as Managing Director for CTIA’s subsidiary
CIBERNET. With her extensive experience in the wireless space,
she is ideally suited to manage carrier and channel
relationships as LimeLife becomes the prime provider of
female-focused content.
Chriss has built a career of developing projects and
relationships in the wireless industry. Previously, as the
Director of Business Development for Digital Chocolate, she was
responsible for the development and deployment of corporate
strategy surrounding brand licensing, OEMs and emerging
markets/technologies. Prior to Digital Chocolate, Chriss worked
with the Telecom Technology Practice at Bain & Company. Her
relationships in and understanding of the wireless space will be
invaluable as LimeLife expands its strategic relationships and
builds a large suite of wireless entertainment products.
“We are pleased to announce the addition of two such strong
executives in the mobile space to the LimeLife team,” said
Kristin Asleson McDonnell, CEO, LimeLife, Inc. “In addition to
having the contacts and experience to bring LimeLife to the
forefront, both Erica and Eileen have an innate understanding of
what women are looking for in mobile content and what will make
their lives more enjoyable.”
As the only mobile content publisher dedicated to the female
market, LimeLife is poised to take advantage of the increasing
rate at which women are adopting both casual gaming and mobile
entertainment applications. In 2004, an estimated three to five
million North American women downloaded content to their mobile
phones. Mobile content is projected to reach $9 billion in 2006
(LogicaCMG, July 2005) with downloaders projected to increase
from 20% of the cell phone user market to 60% over the next 12
months.
