HydroPoint Expands Customer Training and Engineering
Capabilities with New Corporate Headquarters
Petaluma, CA — February 20, 2008 — HydroPoint Data Systems,
Inc., providers of the WeatherTRAK smart water management
solution, today announced that the company has moved to new
facilities in Petaluma, California. The company’s new location,
neighboring the previous headquarters site, features expanded
facilities for customer training and quality assurance
engineering, and accommodates the company’s larger staff, which
grew by 20 percent to 62 employees in 2007.
In its new location, HydroPoint is equipped to provide hands-on
product training for WeatherTRAK customers and landscape
industry partners. The WeatherTRAK solution, proven to save four
times more water than any other technology, is already the
irrigation industry’s most rigorously tested product. A new
quality assurance testing lab enables the company’s engineers to
simulate the WeatherTRAK solution’s responses to virtually any
set of landscape and weather conditions.
Adjacent to Schollenberger Park and the Petaluma Marsh, one of
the west’s largest tidal marshes, the company’s office location
offers an attractive setting for employees and visitors. By
selecting a constructed commercial space, HydroPoint minimizes
the environmental impact of its fast growth, especially when
compared to building a new facility or expanding the footprint
of an existing structure in open space.
Commenting on the new facility, Chris Spain, president and CEO
of HydroPoint, said, “The entire team is invigorated by the
move. Our customer service and engineering teams are the
industry’s best, and now they have the space they need to
nurture new programs.” Mr. Spain added, “From the start, we’ve
been focused on supporting our customers in achieving their
sustainability goals, and we can’t wait to demonstrate our new
capabilities.”
