Nicholas Mitsakos

Nicholas Mitsakos is a Venture Partner with Monitor Ventures. Nick combines over 15 years of experience as a venture investor and active private investor in early stage companies with hands-on experience as a successful entrepreneur.

Nick was a founding partner of MKS Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm that invested in information technology. As General Partner with MKS he led investments in a number of successful start-ups including Converge Net (sold to Broadcom), MAGMA Designs (IPO) and Berkeley Networks (sold to Fore). Prior to MKS Nick formed his own investment company, providing debt and equity for new and established companies. Nick began his business career as founder of General Computer Corporation which he sold to the Atari unit of Warner communications.

Nick serves on the Board of Directors of several companies including BridgeWave Communications and Meru Networks. He received his MBA from Harvard University and his BS from the University of Southern California.
