Maverick Networks developed a LAN switch on chip. The company was founded in 1998.

Nick Mitsakos was an investor and member of the Board of Directors. He played an active role with the CEO, CTO and VP of Engineering. He also led merger and negotiations for the company.

The company was sold in 1999 to Broadcom and returned 69x to investors.
