Terms of Use
Thank you for your interest in Monitor Ventures. Please read the following information carefully before submitting business plans, ideas or other materials (collectively, “Proposals”) to Monitor Ventures. By sending or transmitting a Proposal through this Web Site (the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any of the below Terms of Use, please do not use this Site.
- Submissions. We receive Proposals through this Site and we review such Proposals periodically; however, due to the volume of Proposals submitted, we regret that we cannot reply to every submission. If we have not contacted you within [one month] of your submission, you should assume that we are not interested in pursuing your proposed investment opportunity. If we believe that there may be a fit between your Proposal and our investment goals, we will request a meeting with you.
- No Obligation. Because we are constantly considering a variety of Proposals, we will not sign nondisclosure or confidentiality agreements in connection with Proposal submissions and do not accept any restrictions or obligations with respect to any information, regardless of any markings or legends. You understand that we receive many ideas and that similar Proposals may have already been or may in the future be submitted to us or may be under consideration by us. We are not limited in any way from pursuing these ideas. We are under no obligation to compensate anyone for any Proposal submitted, regardless of whether we pursue a similar or identical idea in the future. This Site shall not be considered an offer or commitment to invest in your Proposal. We have no obligation of any kind with respect to such Proposals. We reserve the right to reject any Proposal in our sole discretion and we are under no obligation to return your Proposal to you or provide you with
any feedback.
- Limitation of Liability. IN NO EVENT WILL MONITOR VENTURES, ITS AFFILIATES, AGENTS OR SUCCESSORS BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANYONE ELSE (A) FOR ANY DECISION MADE OR ACTION TAKEN BY YOU IN RELIANCE ON THE SITE OR WITH RESPECT TO THE SITE (B) WITH RESPECT TO ANY ALLEGED TRADE SECRET OR CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION. IN ANY CASE, MONITOR VENTURES, ITS AFFILIATES, AGENTS OR SUCCESSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANYONE ELSE FOR ANY DAMAGES (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, OR LOSS OF VALUE OR CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, OR SIMILAR DAMAGES) EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
